"Oh no, not at all. Especially for a cutie like you," Fish winks and takes both of the stranger's wrists now, soothing over them with gentle touches. Their thumbs rub gentle circles over the man's pulse, knowing that could feel nice and calming in a chaotic situation like this.
While the compliment doesn't shock him, he does look a little more interested now at his new acquaintance. Aside from the help they're already providing him, now both his hands in their care, they were openly complimenting him. Why this surprises him on such a level is a mystery to him at the moment, but it probably has something to do with how different they are. He doesn't know anything about fish people beauty standards, but he'll try not to analyze this too deeply.
Just a nice thing said to him by a nice fish.
"Mm, I am in your debt..." he starts, but then trails off into a pause. "I'm Henry, by the way."
Oh, this is nice. Despite the chaos happening around them, the attention Henry is giving them does feel good. Does help that he is pretty cute, too.
"You can call me Fish. It's a nickname. But easier to call me that than anything else."
All the while, they just continue soothing at the itchy spots on Henry's wrists. They're pretty dexterous with their hands, taking care not to scratch at him with their long red fingernails as they do all that gentle rubbing.
Fish, how...fitting, he thinks. Doesn't dare say it aloud. Even if they agreed with him, it just doesn't feel right coming from him.
"A pleasure, Fish."
As the impromptu treatment continues, he relaxes further into the relief and even emits a low humming sound in his throat. Though one nagging thought doesn't let him relax completely. How long?
"You don't suppose this sort of...affliction is long-lasting, do you?"
It was pretty nice not to hear someone comment about how their nickname was so on the nose, as Fish knows it is. Watching Henry relax was also nice. Fish does love to make other people feel good, though they don't say that out loud.
"If it's anything like what I experienced on one of the moons when I arrived, it went away after some contact like this. Why don't we try?"
And at that, Fish slowly lets go of Henry's wrists, watching them to check whether the symptoms will come back.
He nods in response. At first, the itchiness doesn't rear its ugly head. He does recall that the exposure to the plant was minimal at best, but he can't recall the potency of it. There was quite a bit of stuff in the air, and it might effect people differently due to their physiology. Anything goes, at this point.
"Think it's got something to do with this Chroma that people keep going on about?"
There's a light itch after a moment, but not as bad as before. A light grimace returns to his face as he keeps his hands extended.
"Well then, why don't we stay together for a while? It's always good to make a new friend. And you seem to like the way I take care of you," at that, Fish couldn't resist giving Henry a playful wink.
"Come on," and Fish pulls Henry with them to get away from the insanity of Level 1 to get to Level 2, which was free from the outbreak.
Henry doesn't protest. The outbreak happening all around them is the cause of this itching, so it's their best way of combating that strange affliction. So, he accepts the wink graciously and follows Fish out.
"I must admit, you are very good with your hands. Can't complain."
The mysterious fish...person (he's not sure how to address them on a more personal level. He'll definitely have to ask before they get too far in their interactions) is someone he wants to learn more about, anyway. He doesn't see any downside to sticking around them in the mean time.
Once they're back on Level 2, their surroundings look very different from where they had just come back from with the vine infestation. It's cleaner here, and definitely safer. And thankfully, this was where the apartments most of the moonblessed stayed were.
That comment about them being very good with their hands absolutely didn't go unnoticed.
"If you like, I can show you what else I'm good with," Fish giggles, feeling much more comfortable now that they're free from danger. "But... only if you like, darling."
With what sounds like a very flirtatious proposal, he raises an eyebrow for only a moment. He knows moonlacing is a way of harvesting Chroma or whatever, but he thought he'd have to warm up to it a little. Wait and see how it all goes for the Moonblessed. However, the pass is already made and now he's considering it already. Judging by the state of the place, what with its sudden flora breakout, maybe having some emergency funds could be a good thing. Not only for him, but for the populace in general.
"Perhaps when situations are a little less dire, I wouldn't say no."
At least he feels truthful saying that, and Fish will probably notice he doesn't sound or look adverse to the idea at all. He's a very free-spirited and jump-first-look-later sort of man.
Fish is always aware that people could turn them down. But the way Henry does it... is rather nice. And it does make sense. There was still trouble happening above them, and who knows what could happen? This isn't really time for fooling around.
A graceful acceptance of his reasoning/refusal for the time being is always welcome, and he'll remember that. Fish had also been kind enough to relieve him of the ailment caused by pollen, so it's only right to return the favor at a later and more comfortable time.
"Next time."
It doesn't sound like a promise, but there is some finality to it. He stops by one of the housing streets for the Moonblessed and gives Fish's hand a little squeeze before letting go. The itch has seemed to disappear more or less by now, and he raises his hand to give them a little salute.
"Better go check on the pipes in the new place, wouldn't want a whole new ecosystem sprouting in my bathroom. I'll see you around."

"Good luck with that. And I'll see you around, too."
And with that, they gave him a short wave then turned to go their own way.
